Winner of the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts’ award for best cinematography in a documentary, BLUE delves into the ocean realm at a critical moment for marine life.
The eighth annual “Ding” Darling Wednesday Film Series continues its biweekly showings tomorrow with a free airing of the documentary at 1 p.m. in their Visitor & Education Center. Seating is limited and on a first-come basis.
The 76-minute documentary dissects the impact of industrial scale fishing, habitat destruction, species loss, and pollution on the future of sea life on the brink of mass destruction.
A short discussion will follow the film to allow visitors to gain more from their documentary-viewing experience by listening to other people’s points of view and analyzing what they just watched.
