For the first time, Revs Institute in Naples, widely regarded as one of the top automotive museums in the world, is offering a guided shop walk-thru tour to the public.
After experiencing a docent-led tour of the museum, this new tour allows visitors the opportunity to venture behind the previously “off-limits” workshop doors and learn about the conservation and restoration of some of the world’s most influential automobiles. Conservation discussions will detail methods utilized to prevent deterioration, while restoration discussions will detail the process of restoring the automobile to its original condition or as it existed at its peak.
Recognized by TripAdvisor as one of the top “Things To Do” in Naples, Revs Institute is dedicated to the study and celebration of the automobile. Revs offers visitors a rare opportunity to view the Miles Collier Collections of over 100 of the most influential automobiles ever created with each car selected for its uniqueness and ability to meet rigid standards of historical, technical, aesthetic or social significance. To enhance the visitor experience, specially designed interactive displays and artifact showcases are presented within four themed galleries. They include many rare and unique items from the extensive Revs library and research collections.
