Wines in the Wild

When season is just around the corner, you know that an amazing array of fundraisers are about to take place!

A popular favorite is “Wines in the Wild,” where proceeds benefit the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation, or SCCF.

This year’s “wild” event will take place on Friday, November 9, from 6:30-9:00 pm at the beautifully lit Bailey Homestead Preserve.

Wines in the Wild guests will stroll among six stations on the Homestead grounds.  » Read more

Smoke on the Island

The “Smoke on the Island” Hog Roast will be held tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sanibel Community House, with Resident Chef Jarred Harris preparing the pig pickin’ and sides.

The menu will feature a slow-roasted pig with Chef’s special barbecue sauce, paired with tomato and fresh mozzarella salad, black beans and yucca fries.
