For all you baseball fans out there, click here for a great story in Florida Weekly about how the Spring Training landscape now features a trail of teams up and down Florida’s 1-75 corridor.
With the Atlanta Braves moving to North Port in 2020, our guests will soon have an even greater opportunity to see some of their favorite ballplayers in action!
The Braves will be joining the Boston Red Sox (Fort Myers), Minnesota Twins (Fort Myers), Tampa Bay Rays (Port Charlotte), Baltimore Orioles (Sarasota), Pittsburgh Pirates (Bradenton), Philadelphia Phillies (Clearwater), New York Yankees (Tampa) and Toronto Blue Jays (Dunedin) as teams whose stadiums are within an easy driving distance of Ocean’s Reach.
Florida has enjoyed hosting spring training for roughly a century. Today, nine of its 14 MLB teams have spring training homes located on the western side of the state.
2019 spring training games start on February 22nd! For a full schedule of games, click here.
And don’t forget: Aside from peanuts and crackerjacks, nothing goes better with baseball than last-minute getaway deals to Ocean’s Reach!
