Halloween just got a whole lot spookier!
As if 2020 hasn’t been strange enough, we’re getting a second full moon this month and on Halloween night, no less!
On October 1st, we had a stunning Harvest Moon that illuminated the skies. On October 31st, we’ll have a Hunter’s Blue Moon, not because it’s going to be blue in color, but because it will be the second full moon in a single calendar month.
And just how rare is a full moon on Halloween, you ask? According to the Farmer’s Almanac, a full moon on Halloween only happens every 18 to 19 years!
