Our guests are entranced by the tropical and flamboyant blooms on our grounds and gardens, prompting visits to our office in search of answers. Frequently topping the list of questions is, “What is the name of that beautiful tree with the purple flowers?”
Answer: The Hong Kong Orchid Tree!
Pictured here, the tree blossoms are an impressive six inches wide, varying in color from burgundy to purple. The blossoms have a very faint sweet scent and are in full bloom through March.
