“If you can’t dig the blues, you’ve got a hole in your soul!”
Fans of this amazing music genre will definitely be diggin’ it as the 3rd Annual Sanibel Blues and Jazz Festival takes center stage at “Bailey’s Backyard” on Sunday, November 4, from 12pm – 7pm.
This year’s event features another stellar lineup with the FGCU Jazz Ensemble, Johnny Jensen, the Marty Stokes Band, JP Soars and Kenny Neal, and a closing all-out jam session.
The festival helps to raise money for the Sanibel-Captiva Optimist Club’s many charitable endeavors, including college scholarships and youth summer programs.
Tickets are $40 for general admission and $125 for VIP. VIP admission includes reserved seating and parking, an event T-shirt, meet the bands, raw and champagne bar, food and beverages. General admission ticket-holders are reminded to bring their own seats; fine food and a range of beverages, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase.
