“Beach Glass Kaleidoscope” by Ray Yarema
“Natives In The Garden” is the theme of a new show that will open on Tuesday, January 19 at the Bailey Homestead Preserve.
Weather-resistant outdoor art will be on display in the gardens, representative of the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s mission to protect and care for Southwest Florida’s coastal ecosystems. Local artists highlight SCCF’s efforts to conserve coastal habitats, including native wildlife and flora, and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva and in the surrounding watershed.
Visitors will find 3-dimensional pieces to excite, inspire and amuse. All work is for sale and the artists donate a percentage to SCCF.
The exhibit will be on display through March 11. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the Bailey Homestead Preserve, located at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. For more information, visit sancapart.org.
