Sanibel business owner and professional photographer Nick Adams has been shooting and posting breathtaking videos on his Facebook page which capture this unprecedented time of isolation on Sanibel and Captiva Islands in a special 14-part series. His dramatic drone footage reveals stretches of pristine, empty beaches and nearly deserted roadways, a visual documentary of the impact that COVID-19 restrictions have had on the islands.
We also found this two-hour relaxation video featuring a beautiful sunrise of Lighthouse Beach that Nick recently shot on 4K UltraHD video.

This is one of my favorite spots on the beach. I have that stump as my screen saver from 2 years ago. Cant wait till September when I will be back.
A Florida perspective (I don’t know whether or not their beaches are open). Keep in mind that, even if you live half a mile away from the beach, you are as isolated from it as you are in NYC.
A frustration I have come to understand – Looking past all the mansions at the beach that is off limits!
