“We spent four years growing Savoury Spoon at local farmers markets,” Amanda Estes, co-owner with her husband, Richard, said. “When we heard about the space opening on our favorite island, we knew we had to take the next step and give our loyal customers a place where they could visit us more frequently.”
For breakfast, which is served all day, she recommends the Chicken in a Waffle on a Stick or a dairy-free smoothie bowl, the latter customizable with toppings including vegan white chocolate shaped like a mermaid’s tail and other sea creatures with edible glitter.
Lunchtime favorites include the slow-cooked mojo pork Cuban sandwich and OG melt, with thick bacon, muenster cheese, and house-made roasted onion-garlic jam. Any time of the day, fresh-pressed juices and smoothies complement the various waffles-on-a-stick, breakfast specialties, bowls, soups, and sandwiches.
Savoury Spoon is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and offers dine-in, take-out, curbside pickup and delivery.
