This is a hooked mat of “Sheldon the Gopher Tortoise” that lives at the CROW Center on the island. 

My husband and attended a program about Gopher Tortoises at CROW last fall.  Sheldon was walking around the classroom during the talk.  We fell in love with Sheldon.
