Kicking off the 2019 Season!

BIG ARTS’ upcoming season will feature 17 main stage performances that run the gamut – peppered in amongst art exhibits, a film series, lecture programs and more – and tickets are now on sale.

Ocean’s Reach has been pleased to host Ann Nieman, director of the BIG ARTS production of Noises Off, the wildly outrageous comedy playing at the Strauss Theater until February 17th.

Ann’s past credits on Sanibel Island include Lend Me a Tenor and Stepping Out.

Fa La La La La

The BIG ARTS Concert Band holiday concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Schein Hall.

The program will include traditional favorites such as “Nutcracker Suite”, “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” featuring the Sanibel Youth Dancing Ensemble, Leroy Anderson’s “Horse and Buggy,” Hanukkah, Festival of Lights”, “Do You Hear What I Hear?”, and vocal solos of the Elvis Presley favorite “Blue Christmas” and Mel Torme’s “The Christmas Song.” A sing-along with the audience will top the evening with the annual presentation of “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
