Get a start on the spooky season next Saturday, October 12, at the 6th annual Halloween Festival at Koreshan State Park.
This family event is designed as a Trunk-or-Treat for the little ones with a number of local businesses and organizations participating. Close to 2,000 families attend each year, where kids can also enjoy a hay ride, story time and an assortment of fun games. A state park entrance fee is required per vehicle.
Afterward, enjoy the park’s nature trails that meander along the Estero River, or enjoy fishing, boating, canoeing or kayak tours. The picnic are offers a playground and large pavililon. The park also offers naturalist led natural history programs, historical cooking and engine demonstrations, as well as private tours.
