Morgan “Moose” Wright is a local teacher who has made it through the show’s previous qualifiers in Atlanta, Kansas City and Miami. In 2017, he made it all the way to the stage-one national finals in Las Vegas, but ultimately was unable to move on.
The North Fort Myers resident is a retired U.S. Army first lieutenant and a Golden Apple Award-winning P.E. teacher in Cape Coral. He practices Brazilian jiu jitsu, boxes and competes in mud runs, obstacle-course races and ninja challenges.
Junior obstacle warriors can put their skills to test at the new Ninja Warrior Course at Sky Zone in Fort Myers. An assortment of obstacles — including a rock climb wall, trapeze and swing, zip line, launch pad, wipe out and warped wall — tests your speed, strength and agility.
