Staying at Oceans Reach just adds to experiencing the Paradise Sanibel Island offers to its visitors. The beach access is so close and all the rooms Lanais face the beach. The parking is great and the place is spotless.

We’ve been waiting since Hurricane Ian to get back to our favorite vacation place. We have loved Oceans Reach for years and it didn’t disappoint. It was as beautiful as it has always been. A wonderful place to stay. Rooms are beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, just a wonderful place to stay.

This was our 2nd visit to Ocean's Reach (the first was a few months before Hurricane Ian... had to wait till now to return). It is just as nice as before, albeit with a little less greenery due to storms Ian, Milton and Charlie. They've done an excellent job restoring the entire complex inside and out. Everybody employed there is very friendly and helpful. It's very clean and well cared for. All in all, a very enjoyable stay.
One negative that is not Ocean Reach's fault: The multiple hurricanes have left a lot of standing water on Sanibel and Captiva. The result is a massive amount of no-see-um's from dusk to dawn... bring bug spray, and be aware that they can penetrate the lanai screens of the unit.
The no-see-um's and a rainy week diminished our fun a little, but Ocean's Reach is still great.
We felt that our unit this time (1D4) wasn't as well equipped withs dishes and other food prep stuff as our first unit (1C3) was. Just not enough for 4 guests unless you want to run the dishwasher constantly, hence the 3 stars below. Otherwise, the unit was very nice.

We’ve been blessed to vacation at Ocean’s Reach before and after Hurricane Ian. We are grateful that the entire island is recovering. Coming back to freshly completed and an updated condo at OR is exactly what we needed. Sand is white, the water clear, beach wasn’t crowded and the shelling was amazing.

The unit is even better than we hoped. The staff was attentive and quick to respond to our questions. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, the amazing ocean view and access and the convenience of simply stepping outside and walking to the beach in less than two minutes.

We highly recommend Ocean’s Reach rentals. We are already scheduled to return!
