We love Ocean's Reach condos. It was the first place we ever stayed in Sanibel when we visited for spring break about 20 yrs ago. Just a quick getaway for my husband and I this time but just as perfect. The grounds are so well kept and the pool, parking, and grilling spaces are wonderful. We stayed in this lovely corner unit that had been beautifully decorated. The bed slept well and kitchen had everything you could possibly think of. Living room furniture was so nice - cannot say enough about the decor in the unit.

We love the condo, the beach, and the staff (especially Candy)!
It always feels like home when we walk into the condo!!
This was our first time back since Ian and we were up very happy to see and feel that we were home again!! Can’t wait to come back again!!

First off the staff at Ocean's Reach were very sweet and accommodating. The complex is very well laid out and has great amenities. The unit we stayed in, 2D2, was gorgeous! The kitchen is very well appointed, with everything one needs. The view and proximity to the beach are great. The pool is very close and the path to the beach is an easy walk. Parking is covered and has beach storage, with most essentials provided. So nice to have bikes available to rent on site, with the bike paths very close to the complex. Super quiet area, with comfortable bedding, and high quality finishes throughout.

Ocean's Reach staff

The unit was very clean, fresh and bright. Great views of the pool and ocean/beach. The kitchen was well supplied and the in-unit washer/dryer was a must. The supply of dish soap, dishwasher soap and laundry soap was great-- some cleaning supplies to wipe down counters/table would be needed though. Also, a step stool and nightlight would be a good supply to bring if you have littles (after arriving, we realized we would need those and had to purchase separately). The grounds were clean and the staff was very friendly (and even provided our kids with some markers to paint their seashell treasures with). We had two littles (4 and 8) with us, and everything was close enough for them to walk to and carry their things. We liked how the property isn't too big, so it never felt crowded. No-see-ums were really bad (late June) at the beach and pool in the evenings, but it is that time of year for them.

The island restaurants are starting to re-open. We went to Captiva for several dinners and stayed in Sanibel for ice cream visits. We used the Sanibel Rec Center for a few visits. We also took the kids to Salty Sam's Pirate Cruise in Ft Myers, and it was great!

We would definitely visit again with family (we would just probably try to avoid the no-see-um season... we were uncomfortably covered in bites!). It would be a good multi-generational/multi-family location for an extended family vacation, as well.

We returned to Oceans Reach, our last visit was a June 2022. We were really impressed with the beautiful condo and the amazing property. Everything was wonderful and we are so glad that the resort has completely recovered. The staff is super nice and we had a great vacation. We hope to come back next year.

This condo, 2D2 is very cheerful and bright. We slept well in the beds, and had every utensil we could ever need in the kitchen. The view from the wraparound screened lanai was special , especially when the sun came up in the morning. Remember to use your bug spray as the no-seeums can get you at times. Very convenient to the elevator and outdoor steps to the beach. Pool area can be a bit loud depending on how many people are using it but it was not overly noisy at any time. Very convenient if you want to use it. Property management is always helpful and professional and very friendly. The manicured outside grounds are a delight to walk around in. We are repeat visitors and really enjoy Oceans Reach. So close to the water we can see dolphins in the water. Beach was very clean and the air smelled good.

This condo is perfection! It was recently completely renovated and it has everything one could hope for in a vacation rental. The kitchen is gorgeous and fully equipped including a beverage refrigerator, the bathrooms well planned with stunning showers and plentiful storage. I give it our highest recommendation and will definitely be returning!
