We had a wonderful experience at Ocean Reach. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay on Sanibel.

We stayed in Ocean’s Reach 3A3 for the month of February 2026. We very much enjoyed our stay and appreciated the care and thought that went into the design and amenities of this beautiful beach front condo and the generosity of our hosts. We could not have been more pleased with the location. Beach front with a Lanai that provides panoramic view of beach and Gulf. The beach is just a few steps away from the condo. It is a private and quiet location which is beautifully landscaped and maintained with mature plantings. Convenient to restaurants, shops, bike path and natural attractions. The atmosphere is relaxed, informal and private. We found the complex to be a well-cared for property with staff on duty daily to maintain and manage site appearance and guests’ needs. Very quiet both during the day and at night. Support and Guest Services staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Personalized service. Sanibel is a special destination for us. This was our first visit back since the hurricane after spending over a decade of Februarys on the island. Ocean’s Reach is fully restored to pre hurricane conditions with improvements. Condo was completely refurbished and updated. Everything is new and up to date. Pool and recreational facilities are new and well maintained. Andy’s Grove is great for entertaining and grilling. Covered Parking and locked storage is great for beach chairs and bicycles. No-See-Um suppression system made these pests a non-issue for our month-long stay. This is a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Sanibel.

We visited January 17-24, our first trip back to Sanibel and Oceans Reach since Hurricane Ian. We stayed in 3B3. The unit was very clean, pleasantly decorated, and had everything we needed. Unit photos are accurate. Coffeemaker and blender got a workout! Oceans Reach has improved their digital footprint; check-in and check out are simple. We enjoyed a beachwalk every day. There were many live shells the first few days, including horse conches. Plant life is getting re-established after the hurricane, coming along nicely. We enjoyed Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge and drove off island to the Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. A great trip!

The cleanliness of the unit was impressive.Everything was new and updated. All amenities were available and the kitchen was well stocked with great appliances. It was perfect for our family of 4. The office manager was extremely friendly and very kind.

We’re glad you enjoyed the apartment, beach, and pool! Thanks for the feedback about the unfortunate fact of life in the tropics. Our best advise is to protect against them early and often, avoid dawn and dusk unless there is a good breeze and make sure you spray down. We have found Picaridin is the best product. Available on Amazon and we keep a small supply in the office. We’d love to welcome you back!

Great Condo and resort. The staff was very helpful, if you needed anything. Really liked the convenience of being able to rent bikes and beach umbrellas right at the resort. The only thing we didn’t like, was no restroom at the pool. Made it inconvenient to have to go all the way up to the room when you needed to go. Overall a great experience, 4.9 out of 5.
