As you prepare to vacation at your beachfront condo on Sanibel Island, we would like to provide you with these helpful tips and reminders:
Check-in time is 3 p.m.
Our Guest Services office (800-336-6722) is open Monday thru Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.
For a “non-contact” check-in, you will find your welcome packet and keys in our “Information Center” (look for the blue door located 20 feet toward the beach from the office walkway). This room will be open around the clock for check-ins after office hours, as well.
Due to enhanced cleaning procedures, please note that we can no longer offer early check-ins.
Bring your directions to the condo with you.
Directions from the airport and interstate can be found here. After crossing the causeway from Fort Myers to Sanibel Island, turn right at the stop sign onto Periwinkle Way, the main thoroughfare of the island. Continue 1.3 miles and make a left onto Casa Ybel Road (Jerry’s Supermarket will be on your right). Go 1.4 miles and turn left on Algiers Road, shortly past the entrance to CECI, the Children’s Education Center of the Island. Take your second right onto Camino del Mar and follow the palm-lined driveway to Ocean’s Reach.
Please park in your assigned space.
Each of our condos on Sanibel Island have an assigned parking space adjacent to and/or opposite the condominium buildings. All parking spaces are covered and numbered. We ask that you please be considerate of other guests and park ONLY in the designated space for your unit. Elevators, ramps and carts are conveniently located to assist you with your move-in.
Ocean’s Reach is a smoke-free, “green” and family-friendly resort.
Please honor all resort policies, rules and regulations for the safety, comfort and relaxation of your fellow guests. Remember that Ocean’s Reach is a non-smoking resort, and smoking.
Your final payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival date.
Please call us at 800-336-6722 to arrange payment, due no later than 60 days prior to your arrival date. Note that reservations not paid in full by 60 days prior to your arrival date are subject to cancellation. Payments may also be made online through the secure Guest Portal that can be accessed near the bottom of each page on our website. Once the payment is completed, a confirmation of your final payment will be emailed to you.
Reserve bicycles and beach umbrellas in advance.
Beach chairs are provided with each of our Sanibel Island condo rentals. Beach umbrellas are not included but may be rented from Ocean’s Reach Guest Services for $10/day or $30/week. “Beach cruisers” (standard one-speed adult-sized bicycles) are conveniently located on our resort premises and available for rent at Guest Services for $15/day or $40/week. Each bicycle comes available with a basket, lock and helmet. Our staff can also help arrange for delivery of children’s bikes, multi-speed bikes and specialty bikes from Billy’s Rentals. As quantities are limited, we recommend that you place advance reservations by calling 800-336-6722 or emailing [email protected]. Please note payment for bicycles and beach umbrellas is by cash or personal check only and is due upon pick up at Guest Services.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m.
We already know we’ll hate to see you leave, but do hope you’ll have had a great time and will remember your time fondly! Please be sure to return all condo keys and bike rental keys upon your departure. Due to enhanced cleaning procedures, we can no longer offer late check-outs at a Ocean’s Reach.
