An assortment of “Let’s Pink Out” intiatives will once again be held on Sanibel during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
The month launches with a sure-to-be-stunning Pink Flamingo High Tea on October 5. A full high tea menu will be served at Sundial Beach Resort & Spa, along with sparkling wines from Bailey’s Marketplace and floral decor designed by RS Walsh Garden Center. Other local businesses are providing auction and raffle prizes. RSVP on Eventbrite and plan to wear pink. Proceeds go to support breast cancer needs and education.
Mary Bondurant, Let’s Pink Out founder, said “This is the launch event for Let’s Pink Out Sanibel. Besides our signature mobile mammogram program for uninsured individuals, we’ll have a Dink for Pink pickleball tournament October 8-9, the Pink-a-Bell dinner dance October 9 and the popular Pink Out picnic at the firehouse on October 28.”
