Christmas Eve on the Beach

Island residents and visitors are invited to grab a beach towel or chair and head to the Sanibel Lighthouse Beach for the Annual Christmas Eve Beach service on Dec. 24 at 5 p.m.

Hosted by Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ since 1979, the Gulf breezes and waves provide background for the annual family-friendly service of carols and telling of the Christmas story by Senior Pastor Rev.  » Read more

Holiday Boat-A-Long

 

Since 1978, the parade of beautifully decorated boats in Cape Coral’s Holiday Boat-A-Long has been one of the highlights of the holiday season in Southwest Florida.  This year’s event is scheduled for Saturday, December 21 from 4:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Located at Four Freedoms Park in neighboring Cape Coral, the “family night out” festival has food, Christmas music, and a visit from Santa Claus along with the parade.  » Read more
