Head to the hills or the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s observation tower for a lofty view of a solitary roseate spoonbill. Nestled among the high tops, Sanibel’s iconic bird is a beautiful must-see.
Catch it high or catch it low at the mud flats and shallow waters along Wildlife Drive at the “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge where the flock feeds at sunset.
Just don’t leave Sanibel without a sighting!
