Captiva Island’s charming Chapel by the Sea — once a schoolhouse — holds services yearly from the second week in November through the end of April.
This year, you are invited to be a part of its Christmastime tradition, no matter where in the world you are. For many years, a cherished tradition has been to hang wreaths on the interior walls of the chapel, in memory and celebration of loved ones. The names of those remembered are then shared during the service on the Sunday before Christmas. This year, for a small donation, you can add a wreath of your own in memory of someone whose name will be included during the special service. For more details, click here.
