Any Food Network lovers out there?

If so, keep an eye out on 11-year-old Southwest Florida local Riya Shah, who is competing on the Food Network’s “Kids Baking Championship,” currently airing. The show, hosted by celebrity chefs Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman, boasts the baking skills “far beyond their years” of 12 children from around the country.

The kids are adorable — and impressive — and Riya is no exception.

“Baking is my passion, so even if I don’t get it right the first time, I always want to keep doing it because it’s what I love,” said Riya, who started baking when she was seven years old.  “Mom” Roshani said everyone loves her daughter’s macarons, but her personal favorite is Riya’s apple pie.

While Riya may have epic baking skills, she wants to make it a hobby, not a career as she grows up.  Presently, she plans to become an aerospace engineer!

“Kids Baking Championship” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. (Eastern) on the Food Network and is available for streaming on Discovery+.
