Can’t Wait for “Taste of the Islands”!

A beloved island tradition, the 35th CROW Taste of the Islands, will be held this year from noon to 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 13, at the Sanibel Community Park. Admission is $5 for adults and children ages 12 and younger are free.

Sixteen restaurants are participating this year, four of which are new to the festival – Il Cielo, Love Boat Ice Cream, Shima and Blue Giraffe.  » Read more

Historical Museum Re-Open for Season

Founded in 1984 with a mission to preserve and share Sanibel history, the story of our island is told from the Calusa and Spanish eras to the early pioneer families who settled on the island in the 1800s.
