Dina’s daughter, Deanna, was invited to participate in the Chalk Art Extravaganza at Artfest this year!
It was a family affair when Deanna’s cousins came to town to surprise her!
Voila — an impressionistic Alice-in-Wonderland inspired masterpiece! What fun!
Mother Nature provided postcard-perfect weather for this year’s Artfest in downtown Fort Myers. The show attracts more than 85,000 attendees each year, as guests enjoy walking through the city’s beautiful riverfront park and yacht basin viewing works from over 200 professional and community artists.
We took a few pics of Dina’s lovely and talented daughter, Deanna, as she wowed the crowd with her school teammates in the festival’s Chalk Art Extravaganza. Deanna also won Third Place with her self-portrait in the Art Under 20 exhibit and competition, which gives hundreds of talented high school students an opportunity to showcase their artwork to festival goers while competing for scholarship awards. (Yep, very proud mom at Ocean’s Reach!)
