The Ocean Tribe Paddlers Club hosts monthly meet-ups to enjoy group paddles on beautiful San Carlos Bay. The next meet-up is scheduled for October 9th, where participants are invited to meet on the west side of Causeway Island A at 4:45 p.m. Paddlers will then depart to enjoy about an hour on the water together.
“Our meet-ups are designed to give paddling enthusiasts an opportunity to hang out, share ideas, and meet new paddling friends,” said Johnny Rader, who will lead the October event. Paddlers are encouraged to bring their own paddle craft, but a limited number of stand up paddleboards are available for loan if reserved in advance. “We want to make it easy for everyone to attend, even new paddlers who do not have their own gear yet,” said Rader.
Each participant’s first Ocean Tribe Paddlers event is free – after that, paddlers are asked to purchase an affordable annual membership, which includes events, activities, retail discounts, and club logo wear. Any weather related changes will be announced via the Ocean Tribe Paddlers Facebook page on the day of the event.
