For others, the joy of collecting is the labor of discovering a shell’s true beauty through the process of hand cleaning, polishing and drying each individual and uniquely shaped shell. Such was our discovery when we happened upon our guest collector in the shaded shell station at Ocean’s Reach. Surrounded by family members, our guest demonstrated much passion and attention to the multi-steps of bringing out the true sheen and color of each shell while rinsing, polishing and drying outdoors.
