You’ll find the Sanibel & Captiva Islands “Francis P. Bailey, Jr.” Visitors Center on your right-hand side as soon as you drive onto the island. It’s the colorful island-style building, where staff are happy to answer your questions 365 days a year.
Following their recent make-over, they now feature brand new touchscreen kiosks that can help you plan your trip while you’re visiting the area. As one of only thirteen official Florida Certified Tourism Information Centers in the state, you can be assured of friendly, knowledgeable assistance. Even after office hours, they serve guests with an outdoor phone for local calls and information packs.
Be sure to stop by on your next visit to see the “new and improved” Sanibel & Captiva Islands Visitor Center. They’re open 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. every day of the year; 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on holidays. You can also check out their website at www.sanibel-captiva.org.
