Longtime Ocean’s Reach guest Alan F. from Bloomington, MN throws out the first pitch at Target Field!
We are incredibly fortunate to have two Major League Baseball teams that call our area “home.”
Following our information on Red Sox spring training tickets last week, today we pay honor to the Minnesota Twins, the 2019 Central Division Champs and major league home run hitting record holders.
Single-game tickets for the 2020 Spring Training campaign go on sale December 3. Tickets can be purchased online at twinsbaseball.com or by calling 800-33-TWINS (800-338-9467) or 612-33-TWINS (612-338-9467). The Hammond Stadium Box Office at the CenturyLink Sports Complex will open on January 11.
Twins pitchers and catchers are scheduled to begin their workouts on Wednesday, February 12. The first full-squad workout is scheduled to take place on Monday, February 17 in conjunction with the club’s annual Spring Training Open House for fans at the CenturyLink Sports Complex.
The Twins 2020 Grapefruit League schedule features 31 games (15 home, 16 road), while the club will also host a pair of additional exhibition games, including the home opener at the CenturyLink Sports Complex against the University of Minnesota on Friday, February 21.
Highlighting the Twins’ 15 home Grapefruit League games will be three contests against the Boston Red Sox (February 24 and 28, and March 20); two against the Atlanta Braves (March 11 and then the annual Minnesota Day celebration on March 15); and, single games against the Toronto Blue Jays (February 23), Philadelphia Phillies (February 26), St. Louis Cardinals (March 9), New York Mets (March 14) and New York Yankees (March 21).
The Twins’ 2020 Spring Training campaign will represent the club’s 30th at the CenturyLink Sports Complex in Fort Myers. If you haven’t been to the stadium since its major $48.5 million renovation in 2015, don’t miss doing so this year!
