When our owners come to visit, we’re not surprised when they roll up their sleeves and go to work upgrading their units. Case in point, owners Bruno and Mary P. from Lisle, IL when they recently came down for a nice two-week spring visit.
The family left us a list of improvements they made while they were here, including close to a dozen new enhancements for their unit 4D3.
Why feature this in our blog?
Because one of the enhancements was a new Delta “Emery” kitchen faucet … designed by their daughter Lauren!
Lauren just graduated from Purdue University with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Design, following a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial and Product Design with the Boilermakers, as well. While she was at college, Lauren participated in a co-op program where she worked as an Associate Industrial Designer for the Delta Faucet Company for close to two years, during which time she helped to design their new “Emery” faucet now available at home improvement stores nationwide.
A big congratulations to Lauren … and to her twin sister, Julia, too, who just graduated with a Master’s of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago’s Quinlan School of Business!
