Stay in tune with Southwest Florida by listening to “Songs from the Sofa” virtual concerts!
Tonight’s concert will put the spotlight on live music, interviews and stories behind the songs from Sam James, a BMI singer-songwriter and star from the hit show, “The Voice.” James recently performed his original song, “Shinedown” on NBC’s songwriting show, “Songland” and has written hit songs for such artists as Bebe Rehxa and Dolly Parton.
Tune into the concert tonight at 8 p.m. EST, streamed live on the official Island Hopper Songwriter Fest Instagram page.
The virtual concert series is presented jointly by the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau, iHeart Media and Cat Country 107.1, and is hosted by DJ Mike Tyler.
Its goal is to celebrate music with songwriters who will perform at the seventh annual Island Hopper Songwriter Fest, taking place September 18-27, on Captiva Island, Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach.
