In honor of National Dessert Day today, we’ve got to give a shout-out to one of our favorite places on the island – Pinocchio’s!
This much beloved little green ice cream shop on the east end of the island is perhaps the only place in the world where you can get ice cream flavors like Dirty Sand Dollar, Sanibel Krunch and Berrywinkle on Periwinkle!
A Sanibel tradition since 1980, Pinocchio’s serves up 37 flavors of homemade ice cream, gelatos, frozen yogurts, sherbets and sorbets from their treasure chest of over 130 original recipes, prepared daily in their store with always the finest and freshest ingredients. You know it’s Pinocchio’s when your generous portion is served with an animal cracker on top!
